<image:title>About - A true outdoorsman, Brad draws inspiration from his love of the physical world and the organic forms found in Nature.</image:title>
<image:caption>Brad’s work focuses predominately on painting landscapes in oil in a Neo-impressionistic style. However, his full body of work is wide-ranging in scope and medium. He spent years creating abstract steel sculptures, culminating in a series of multi-medium “cement paintings” that leverage techniques from his representational and abstract work. He has portrayed the human body in clay in many forms from portrait busts to life-size figure sculptures. He has found his artistic expression also in abstract paintings in oil, watercolor, and charcoal drawing, etching, woodcut, collage, and digital media. More recently, he has been creating pop art portraits in acrylic. He has exhibited in a variety of venues over the past four decades. His work can be found in private collections in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Maine.</image:caption>

<image:caption>These are a joy to create. They are large, whimsical and generous. I found that with practice a large amount of control is possible while dripping and throwing paint. While highly decorative they also have an unexpected depth of emotion. Order emerges from chaos.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I learned etching at PAFA and years later actually went back to the Academy to relearn how to do it. I bought a press and started making prints in my studio.</image:caption>

<image:title>All Pieces - Cement Paintings & Steel Sculptures</image:title>
<image:caption>I learned metal sculpture at PAFA. I fell in love with it immediately and devoted the following years to welding and grinding. I created these “cement paintings” toward the end of this period.</image:caption>

<image:title>All Pieces - Italian Oil Landscapes</image:title>
<image:caption>I spent my last semester of college in Italy. With unbelievably beautiful landscapes and a rich history, I could stay there forever. I was fortunate enough to be able to return recently and visited the Dolomites, which led to a series of paintings that forms my current work. They will be up shortly!</image:caption>

<image:title>All Pieces - Maine Oil Landscapes</image:title>
<image:caption>I have traveled to Maine at least annually for most of my life, even more so after all four of my siblings and my parents moved there over twenty years ago. I have always enjoyed the quality of the light in Maine-pure white without the haziness found in Pennsylvania. From the mountains to the coast, Maine has always been a source of inspiration for me.</image:caption>

<image:title>All Pieces - Chester County Oil Landscapes</image:title>
<image:caption>In my landscape paintings, I employ an impressionist sensibility to capture the effect of light, which to me represents life force. When working outdoors, I experience a melding into my environment. I work to manifest a deep connection to Nature, essentially “one-ness” with the world, representing the human relationship to Nature both physical and emotional.</image:caption>
